Foundation-Funded Research Brings Hope: Jenny Larner Brown

Jenny is a five-year stage 4 triple negative and inflammatory breast cancer survivor who recorded her story in 2019 with the Indiana University School of Medicine. The prognosis for this type of cancer is poor, but thanks to researchers, oncologists, and a clinical trial at the Vera Bradley Foundation Center for Breast Cancer Research, Jenny has hope. While Jenny currently has no evidence of disease, she recognizes that may not last.

If and when my cancer returns, I know that I am in the best hands possible – that if I’m going to survive this disease, my care team will be the ones to make it happen.
