When the cancer recurred again three years ago, it had metastasized and my prognosis was poor. I was preparing my final goodbyes, grieving the milestones I’d miss in my daughters’ lives. Today, I’m traveling with my friends and family, and I’m preparing a future...only because you enabled a research idea to become a treatment. Hope is everything. And the community of generous and committed people who’ve been providing the hope for decades needs to know they are making a real difference.
