Simon Malls Partner with Vera Bradley Foundation
Portion of proceeds of sales of Twirly Birds Pink gift cards to benefit the Foundation
Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 2, 2011) — Seventy-five participating Simon and Mill Malls across the county are helping support breast cancer awareness.
American Express/Simon gift cards will be offered in Vera Bradley’s “Twirly Birds Pink” design, and $1.00 from every card purchased will be paid to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
“We’re excited about the new awareness for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer this partnership will bring,” said Catherine Hill, executive director for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
About the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer: The Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer is celebrating its 12th year of funding breast cancer research. With the endowment of a Vera Bradley chair in oncology at the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center and more than $20 million pledged to breast cancer research, the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer is doing its part to eradicate breast cancer.
