Vera Bradley Foundation and Corso's Cookies Team Up for Breast Cancer Awareness
Fort Wayne, Indiana (October 7, 2009) — Courage. Compassion. Commitment. These are the words that define the fight against breast cancer. Creating stylish, creative, colorful gifts, both Corso’s Cookies and Vera Bradley are teaming up with a campaign to benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
This year the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer is partnering with Corso’s Cookies – a family owned company that creates custom-made, hand-decorated cookies and is known for its amazing cookie designs, themes, and mouth-watering tastes – to aid in the fight against breast cancer.
In partnership with the Vera Bradley Foundation, Corso’s Cookies has designed a cookie bouquet, which replicates Vera Bradley’s Hope Garden design. Now through the end of the year, Corso’s Cookies has agreed to donate 20% of the net proceeds from sales of each Hope Garden Cookie Bouquet to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
Vera Bradley will also display the Hope Garden Cookie Bouquets in all 25 retail stores during the week of October 16. The Hope Garden Cookie Bouquet will be available for purchase at corsoscookies.com.
The Vera Bradley Foundation receives funding through the sale of Vera Bradley breast cancer awareness designs – the current design is “Hope Garden.” It represents hope for the future. Hope for a cure, a change.
