Retailer throws a party to raise funds

Tipp City, Ohio (April 12, 2008) — Vera Bradley retailer Urban Ava Boutique in Tipp City, Ohio, treated ticket holders to a wonderful silent auction, gift bags, appetizers and drinks at a special event right in their beautiful store, and raised more than $2,500.

Ticket sales for this fun event sold out well before the actual date; a sure sign of a great party. Many local businesses, including several that helped put on a musical fashion show beforehand, supported the annual auction. Thank you, Urban Ava for your amazing contribution to the Vera  Bradley Foundation for Breast  Cancer!

Vera Bradley founder Barbara Bradley Baekgaard (far left) and Vera Bradley Foundation Ambassador Heidi Floyd (far right) were presented with the check for money raised by Urbana Ava at their in-store. All funds raised will go to benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation.
